Golden Years Ministry
The Golden Years Ministy team at DFC shares the Lord's love with seniors, shut-ins, and sick members of our church who cannot attend due to various reasons. We call or visit our shut-in church members and share the Lord's Word, encouraging them to turn to the Lord, and reminding them of the promises of His soon return. During visits or calls we keep them posted about the different activities taking place at DFC and pray with them. We offer to bring them common items they can use from day-to-day, like toiletries, personal hygiene items, etc. as well as assist them with their home chores. If necessary we assist with transportation to and from their home to church.
Health Ministries
The DFC Health Ministries Team hosts a variety of events throughout the year including the "Regenerate" weekend held every February and classes presented during "Live and Learn" such as the Full Plate Diet curriculum. We launched a Weight Loss Challenge 12 week session starting May 12, 2011.
