DFC gathers as a family every Sabbath (Saturday) for study of the Bible, worship of our Lord, and celebration and strengthening of our faith. Separate, development-appropriate classes exist for children ages 0-18, and we also offer adult Bible study classes in both English and Spanish. Our worship services consist of music, exploration of scripture, and prayer. Join us at 9:30 for Bible study classes and at 11 a.m. for our worship service.
Every Wednesday evening at 6:30, all are invited to participate in a special session of group prayer. Though we enjoy this every Sabbath during both Bible study class and the worship service, we also find it helpful to encourage each other and lift each other up in prayer mid-week, as well. Bring your prayer requests or just come to lift your heart to the Lord in prayer alongside fellow believers.
Here at DFC, we believe very strongly that it is our privilege and our duty to serve the needs of our community. We have specific organized groups who seek to determine these needs and, in partnership with our community, take action to meet them.
We also take seriously Christ’s commission to “go into all the world” and coordinate regular mission trips for all ages to various parts of the globe, serving where we are needed and bringing the love of Jesus to everyone we meet.
DFC is not just a church; we are a loving and supportive family, and we welcome anyone who wishes to be a part of that family. In addition to gathering each week for worship, we also enjoy regular social events and outings. Whether you’ve been attending for years or are new to our family, all are welcome to join!
