The youth and young adults of DFC are a vibrant, welcoming community who enjoy doing life together, even outside of Sabbath hours. From soccer games to youth group to going out to eat to Bible studies to nature hikes to game nights to Pathfinders, there’s opportunity for everyone to get plugged in where they want to be.
Pathfinders
Geared toward young people ages 10-15, this club-structured global organization offers members the chance to dig deeper into God’s word, learn life skills, develop their leadership capabilities, and participate in community service.
Mission Trips
Serving others begins at home and stretches around the world. Our young people are engaged in many service activities, including mission trips to various places in need, from our own backyard to the other side of the globe. Previous trips have seen our young people serving in Cuba, and future plans include serving the indigenous people of the Amazon River Basin and a recycling project in Egypt.
SAT Camp
This week-long summer day camp for high school students includes academic, social, and spiritual development. The goal is to help students improve their SAT scores, with opportunities to visit colleges and museums throughout the week. For information, contact the church office at 214-528-1111.
